 Bio:

Began career as a Mechanic in 1982. Have worked as a Mechanic in Loveland, CO, Atlanta, GA, Bemidji, MN & Walker, MN. Began supporting the Office of Polar Programs as a Mechanic in 2011.

Wintered at McMurdo '12 & '13. Was part of 5 Black Island Traverses over those 2 Winters.

2013-14 Camp Mechanic at CReSIS/SLW Field Camp. Was a participant in the Cassie Rose Traverse that season.

2014-15 was a member of the Pine Island Glacier Traverse. Made 2 round trip adventures from WAIS Divide to Pine Island Glacier Camp.

2018-19 was part of The South Pole Traverse. 2 Traverses to SP with SPoT 1 & 3.

2019-20 SPoT 1 & 3 again.

2020-21, 1 traverse with SPoT 2.

2022-23 SPoT 1 & 3.

2023-24 SPoT 1 & 3. Upon arrival at SP with SPoT 3 in Feb of '24, stayed at SP as a Mechanic for the South Pole Winter of 2024.

2025-26 again SPoT 1 & 3.

Supported the Arctic Program as a Mechanic at Summit Station with 3 Summer deployments and 4 Winter deployments off and on from 2014 until 2022.

Currently reside in Denver, CO.
